Gyratory crushers are designed to deliver exceptional performance in demanding applications. The upper part of the shaft is held in a flexible bearing, while the lower part moves eccentrically in a circular motion, ensuring continuous operation. The crushing action occurs around the entire cone, with maximum movement at the bottom, providing a uniform and fine product. Gyratory crushers offer lower power consumption and minimal stress fluctuations, making them ideal for high-capacity operations where reliability and efficiency are crucial. They excel in producing a finer product with greater consistency, making them the perfect choice for a variety of industries.
These crushers are primarily used in surface crushing plants and are ideal for those handling large volumes of material. The gyratory crusher consists of a solid, fixed conical shell (concaves) and a crushing head mounted on a central spindle, which is either hydraulically or mechanically suspended. The lower part of the spindle is supported by a hydraulic piston, and a gear mechanism moves the bottom of the shaft eccentrically. This arrangement compresses material between the rotating head and the top shell segments, minimizing horizontal abrasive motion.
