Proses Makina Kilobar series is a continuous casting system designed for melting gold and silver and producing regularly shaped bars. The system allows for the production of bars in various weights, including 100 g, 250 g, 500 g, 1000 g, and 2000 g molds. Molds are specially produced and used to achieve the desired weights, ensuring a consistent and standardized production process.

The induction furnace is a melting system that uses direct electromagnetic induction to heat metal, providing an efficient heating method. These furnaces are commonly used for melting precious metals such as gold and silver and are combined with a continuous casting system, which pours the molten metal at a constant speed and in a homogeneous manner. The metal is passed through a continuous mold, rapidly cooled, and solidified, resulting in the desired bar shape. This process helps maintain the quality and homogeneity of the metal during casting.

Proses Makina’s Kilobar series is available in two different capacities: Kilobar 65 kW (700 x 70 x 150 mm) and Mini Kilobar 13 kW (300 x 50 x 130 mm). Both systems are equipped with atmosphere-controlled melting, automatic cooling control, and an automatic riding system. These systems feature advanced specifications, including a PLC system, push system, mold size change feature, laser heat meter, water flow and temperature control, mold cooler compartment area temperature control, and nitrogen gas flow control. The system is capable of operating at temperatures up to 1400°C, with an external cooling water temperature controlled at 22°C. These features ensure that the continuous casting process is carried out safely, efficiently, and with high-quality results, producing premium gold and silver bars.
