HIGH-PURITY COPPER RECOVERY
Shaking table systems are designed to efficiently separate materials for gravity-based sorting in e-waste recycling operations. Operating within a particle size range of 0.5 mm to 20 mm, these systems use the principle of specific gravity difference to separate heavy and light materials via water flow and mechanical vibration. In Proses Makina’s e-waste facility, materials coming from crushers and shredders are processed on the shaking table to separate copper from dust and plastic. This ensures that only high-purity copper is fed into the rotary furnace, improving furnace efficiency, reducing energy consumption, and resulting in cleaner metal outputs.
The Shaking Table is a sophisticated instrument designed for the gravity-based separation of granular materials. Utilizing a reciprocating motion, this equipment establishes a stratified bed that allows particles to separate according to their specific gravity. The inclination of the table’s deck and the oscillation amplitude can be adjusted to optimize separation results for various materials. Through the shaking motion and the specialized surface of the table, differential stratification occurs, allowing heavier metal particles to settle and separate from lighter materials.
The Shaking Tables feature a gearless driven motor that minimizes maintenance needs and ensures long-lasting operation. Effective in the recovery of precious metals like gold and platinum, these systems offer high recovery rates even in low-tonnage operations. All units are manufactured in compliance with CE standards, ensuring safety and reliability while delivering optimal performance for specific needs.
