The Grain Production Unit (GPU) is a specialized system designed to achieve a high surface area for chemical processes, particularly for shaping precious metals such as gold, silver, and platinum group metals (PGMs) including palladium, platinum, and rhodium into granules. One of the core components of this unit is the water circulation system, which regulates the temperature and enhances process efficiency. The water circulation system ensures uniform heat distribution, maintaining the desired temperature range for the materials being processed. Furthermore, the double-pot configuration allows for one pot to heat the liquid metal, while the other pot is used for granulation and cooling, ensuring the process is both efficient and safe.

Another key feature of the GPU is its ability to discharge granules without any loss of water. This functionality ensures that water consumption is minimized and environmental impacts are reduced during the operation. By maintaining continuous water circulation, the system prevents unwanted water loss, leading to a more sustainable and efficient process.

The electricity consumption of the GPU is approximately 1.5 kW, highlighting its energy-efficient design. The low electricity consumption makes the system a cost-effective option for large-scale operations. The circulation pump plays a crucial role in maintaining the continuous flow of water, which is essential for temperature regulation and achieving consistent results in the granulation process.
