The Fire Assay Laboratory is specifically designed for the precise analysis of precious metals such as gold, silver, and Platinum Group Metals (PGMs), utilizing the cupellation process. It offers comprehensive process expertise, enabling users to achieve optimal performance in both gold and PGM refining applications.

Cupellation is a refining process used to remove non-precious metals from ores or alloyed materials, allowing for the precise identification of precious metals. This process is conducted at very high temperatures under tightly controlled conditions. The cupellation furnaces are equipped with a range of control mechanisms and advanced features to ensure long service life and exceptional performance. The furnace is fitted with high-power silicon carbide heating elements, which provide remarkable durability and efficiency. Its robust stainless steel structure ensures outstanding resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress. Advanced thermal insulation is used to effectively retain heat, minimizing heat loss to the external environment. An integrated electrical control panel allows for precise temperature monitoring at every stage of the heating process, reducing the risk of operator errors.

The system integrates all critical components required for efficient and accurate analysis within a single, cohesive solution. The polypropylene hood and working chamber ensure the safe extraction of acidic vapors and gases generated during high-temperature processes, maintaining a clean and secure laboratory environment.

Complete glass equipment sets are provided to support all fire assay procedures, offering maximum chemical resistance and precision. The system also includes high-precision weighing equipment, which is essential for ensuring the accuracy of pre- and post-assay measurements. To support long-term, uninterrupted operations, the system package is completed with a full set of spare and wear parts.
