Decanter Centrifuge

The Decanter Centrifuge plays a crucial role in the efficient separation of solids and liquids during precious, PGMs, and rare metal recovery processes. Decanter centrifuges are highly effective in handling large quantities of slurry or sludge. The decanter is activated as soon as the solid concentration within the suspension reaches a critical level. Operating based on centrifugal gravitational force, the system provides simultaneous solid separation, liquid clarification, high purification efficiency, and maximum dewatering in a single operation.

The Decanter centrifuge consists of a rotating basket, which holds the material to be processed. With a capacity of 40 liters and a rotational speed of 1300 rpm, the Decanter Centrifuge achieves complete separation within just 5 minutes. It is particularly used after the sedimentation phase of precious metals such as gold and silver and PGMs such as platinum, palladium, and rhodium, where high efficiency and fast processing are essential.

It is equipped with an automatic stop function, ensuring that the cycle is halted at the end of the process or when any operational parameters fall outside the defined safety range. This reduces the risk of over-processing or damage. Additionally, the safe emergency stop mechanism allows for immediate cessation of the system in the event of an unexpected issue, further safeguarding both the equipment and personnel.
