Knelson Concerator
The Knelson Concentrator is a centrifugal gravity separation device designed for the highly efficient recovery of fine gold particles. By generating high gravitational forces, it concentrates heavy minerals from ore feed, making it particularly effective for recovering free-milling, micron-sized gold. Its adjustable operating parameters allow it to accommodate varying feed characteristics and process conditions, providing a versatile solution across a wide range of applications. Proses Makina Knelson Concentrators are engineered with flexible capacity options, ranging from laboratory-scale models to high-throughput industrial systems, ensuring adaptability for projects of any size. With their compact design, low energy consumption, and high recovery rates, these units are well-suited for both primary and secondary concentration stages in mineral processing circuits.
Knelson concentrators are manufactured in two configurations to suit specific process requirements:
- Batch Type: Operates on a cycle where material is fed for a set period, after which the system is stopped to collect the concentrate. Ideal for laboratory testing or small-scale operations.
- Continuous Type: Allows simultaneous feeding and concentrate collection, making it suitable for high-capacity, continuous industrial processing.
In addition to gold and other precious metals, Knelson Concentrators are also highly effective in recovering heavy minerals such as tungsten, chromite, tantalum, and zircon, offering a robust and efficient solution for gravity separation applications.
